Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located in a lovely country area, making it well worth considering for a short stay in the Hertford location. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, but we encountered some bugs in our bedroom. The service was outstanding, with the staff going all out to make us feel special and providing friendly and professional service. The dining experience offered a selection of cakes for vegetarians, but the bacon was microwaved. Although the facilities were good overall, we found a fake black leather sofa in our room.
The hotel really went all out to make us feel special with friendly and professional service. Despite a small hiccup with one manager's attitude, the young waiter working was outstanding. The rooms had been renovated in a contemporary style with excellent design choices and an impressive selection of cakes, but there were no specific standout features. The location was convenient, close to an old pub and a bridge turned footpath, making it great for a short stay in the Hertford area. Dining was inclusive and satisfying, especially for vegetarians. Although not superb, the facilities met our needs comfortably.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and had all necessary facilities, including a decent flat-screen TV and spacious 6-foot beds. The service was excellent and the young waiter went above and beyond to make us feel special, although there was a minor issue with the manager's attitude. The location, set in a lovely country area in Hertingfordbury, just a short cab ride from Hertford North station, was convenient, and everything was excellent during my visits. The dining experience offered a variety of options, including microwaved bacon and wine, but could be improved for vegetarians. The facilities were adequate, and I had a pleasant overall experience.
